He was the Chairman of the Board of the Surfrider Foundation Broward County Chapter for four years and is extremely passionate about the wellbeing of our oceans and planet. Craig exudes the surf lifestyle and mentality, always mentioning the importance of balance within all aspects.
What does surfing mean to you?
For me, surfing has been the part of my life that keeps me most balanced. Beside the physical balance surfing creates, there is the internal balance it has given me. I know the ocean is always there for me and that will never change. If any trials or tribulations come my way, surfing keeps me grounded and connected to the planet in a very special way. That interaction one has while riding a wave is one of the greatest ways a human can experience connecting to our planet.
Surfing has taught me to focus on the goal through perseverance and determination. If you lose focus on the goal you can easily wipe out. If you stay determined and paddle hard there is always another chance to do better. With perseverance and practice we can always create room for progression.
